Lighthouse keeper

A nine panel comic

For a long time I had been trying to write a children’s book about a lighthouse keeper living atop a walking mountain. The mountain, bored of facing west, one day decides to walk to the east coast to watch the sunrise.

I never finished it. But one day, Desert Island Comics put out a challenge to draw a nine panel narrative comic. I created this which was loosely based on some of the development drawings I did for the children’s book.

I can’t remember if I submitted it or not. But here it is now for public consumption.

I have submitted a few things to competitions but I have yet to hear a peep of interest. Guess I just need to get better at it.
